
Ingredients
Jell-O Mixture:
1 (3 oz) package strawberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
Salad:
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
1 (16 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
Jell-O Mixture: In a large bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water and let cool to room temperature.
Combining: Fold in the whipped topping until smooth. Add pineapple, marshmallows, strawberries, and sour cream. Stir gently to mix.
Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set. Serve chilled.
Notes
Enhance with 1/2 cup chopped bananas or sliced almonds
Frozen strawberries can be substituted, thawed and drained
