Ingredients
8 oz pasta
1 lb sausage, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Brown the sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Stir in the garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour the mixture into the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing well to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 2–3 minutes to let the flavors meld. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy hot with a side of salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
