Shrimp Crab Biscuit Melts

Admin

Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup lump crab meat
Dairy and Cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp butter, melted
Condiments and Seasonings
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
Bakery
1 package refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
Garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, mix shrimp, crab meat, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly combined.

Open refrigerated biscuit dough package and separate biscuits.

On a floured surface, flatten each biscuit to about 1/4 inch thickness into a round disc.

Place a generous spoonful of the seafood filling in the center of each flattened biscuit.

Fold each biscuit over the filling to form a half-moon shape and pinch edges tightly to seal.

Arrange filled biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush tops with melted butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

Allow to cool slightly, then garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
For best results, ensure shrimp is thoroughly drained to avoid excess moisture in filling.
