This sweet and tangy peach lemonade is the perfect drink to cool down on a hot day. Made with fresh peaches, zesty lemons, and a hint of sweetness, it’s a delightful twist on classic lemonade!
Ingredients
4 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted (or 2 cups frozen peaches, thawed)
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
½ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
4 cups cold water
Ice cubes
Fresh peach slices and lemon wedges (for garnish)
Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Peach Puree:
Blend the peaches in a blender or food processor until smooth. If desired, strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp for a smoother texture.
Make the Lemonade Base:
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Combine and Mix:
Add the peach puree to the lemonade base and stir well. Pour in the cold water and mix until everything is fully combined.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the peach lemonade for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Serve over ice in glasses, garnished with fresh peach slices, lemon wedges, and a sprig of mint if desired.
Tips
For a fizzy twist, replace 1-2 cups of water with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar, or use honey or agave syrup as a natural alternative.
If fresh peaches aren’t available, canned peaches (in juice, not syrup) work well too.
This Refreshing Peach Lemonade is a crowd-pleaser that’s as beautiful as it is delicious! Perfect for picnics, barbecues, or just sipping on the porch. 🍑🍋✨
