Old Fashioned Fudge

Admin

This easy chocolate fudge recipe has never let me down and it won’t let you down either! It makes great holiday gifts, hostess gifts, or is just a nice way to end dinner with a cup of coffee.

Old Fashioned Chocolate Fudge is everything a homemade fudge should be, so get your candy thermometer ready.

I have been searching and searching for the chocolate fudge that I had tasted when I was about 8 or 10 years old, if you can believe that! This fudge melted in your mouth and was just a little bit crumbly.

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar
4 Tablespoons Hershey’s cocoa
1 stick of salted butter
5 ounce can of Carnation Evaporated Milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla
nuts are optional

How To Make Old Fashioned Fudge :

Mix sugar and cocoa in a saucepan, then add a stick of butter and the can of evaporated milk, and stir until the mixture starts boiling.
Stir continuously for 7 minutes, then remove from heat and add vanilla, then stir the mix continuously for 3 minutes, then pour into a buttered baking dish to set.
Great fudge in less than 20 minutes!
