
Ingredients:
🍖 1 pound ground chuck
🧅 1 medium onion, chopped
🍅 2 tablespoons ketchup
🥄 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
🌶️ 1 teaspoon Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning (plus extra for topping)
🥫 2 (10.5-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
🍅 1 (10-ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
🧀 2 cups shredded pepper jack cheese
🥔 3 to 4 cups frozen onion tater tots
Instructions:
Preheat & Prep:
🔥 Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Cook Meat & Onion:
🍳 In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground chuck and chopped onion together. Drain off any excess fat.
Combine Ingredients:
🥄 Return the meat mixture to the skillet over low heat. Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tony Chachere’s seasoning, cream of mushroom soup, and drained tomatoes and green chilies. Stir to combine and heat through. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top with shredded pepper jack cheese.
Add Tater Tots:
🥔 Cover the top of the mixture with a layer of frozen onion tater tots. Sprinkle a little more Tony Chachere’s seasoning over the tots.
Bake:
⏲️ Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and heated through. (For extra crispiness, place the dish under the broiler for a few minutes at the end.)
