Ingredients
2 lbs chicken thighs or chicken breasts
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
Arrange chicken evenly in the prepared dish.
In a bowl, whisk honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Pour sauce evenly over the chicken, coating all pieces.
Bake for 40–45 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and chicken is fully cooked.
Halfway through baking, spoon sauce over the chicken to glaze.
Remove from oven, rest briefly, and serve warm.
Notes
Chicken thighs stay especially juicy, but breasts work well if preferred.
Basting halfway through helps the sauce thicken and cling.
For extra caramelization, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end.
Serve with rice, potatoes, or vegetables to soak up the sauce.
Leftovers reheat well and the sauce thickens even more after chilling.
