Ingredients
FOOL PROOF PIE CRUST
4 c all-purpose flour
1 3/4 c shortening
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 lg egg
1/2 c water
Directions
1. Mix the first four ingredients.
2. Mix with a pastry cutter or fork until it looks like gravel.
3. Beat together the egg and water.
4. Combine the mixtures, stirring with a fork.
5. Chill 15 minutes before rolling out. The dough can be left in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or it can be frozen until ready to use.
