Creamy Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

To make this comforting pasta, you’ll need:

1 lb ground beef
8 oz pasta (penne, rigatoni, or bowtie work beautifully)
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Kitchen Tools You’ll Need

Large pot for boiling pasta
Large skillet or sauté pan
Wooden spoon or spatula
Measuring cups and spoons
Colander for draining pasta

Ingredient Additions and Substitutions

One of the best things about Creamy Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta is how flexible it is:Grains & Pasta

Protein swap: Ground turkey or chicken works well
Extra veggies: Mushrooms, spinach, or broccoli are great additions
Cheese options: Asiago or Romano can replace Parmesan
Lighter version: Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream (sauce will be thinner)

 

How to Make It

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Ground Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Drain excess fat if needed. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant—the smell at this point is incredible!!Dairy & Eggs
Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

Add butter to the skillet and allow it to melt. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Bring to a low simmer (do not boil). Gradually add Parmesan and mozzarella, stirring constantly until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
Step 4: Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked pasta directly into the skillet. Toss until every piece of pasta is coated in the creamy beef Alfredo sauce.
Step 5: Serve and Enjoy

Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired. I promise—this one disappears fast!
