talian Stromboli Melted Cheese

Ingredients:

Dough and Fillings

01 – 1 tube Pillsbury pizza crust
02 – 8 slices deli ham
03 – 10 slices Genoa salami
04 – 12 slices sandwich pepperoni
05 – 8 slices provolone cheese or shredded mozzarella cheese

Topping

06 – 2 tablespoons butter
07 – 2 minced garlic cloves
08 – 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
09 – 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Directions:

01 – Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Pillsbury pizza crust package. Melt the butter in the microwave and mix in the minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
02 – Line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Stretch the pizza crust out to almost the size of your baking sheet.
03 – Layer the deli meats starting with the ham, then the salami, followed by the pepperoni. Layer the cheese last.
04 – Roll the Stromboli longwise and ensure the seam is sealed well. Seal the ends by pinching them and molding the excess dough to the underside of the Stromboli.
05 – Score the top a few times with a serrated knife to allow steam to escape while baking. Top the Stromboli with the garlic butter mixture.
06 – Bake the Stromboli according to the instructions on the back of the pizza dough package. Typically, it is the same bake time as for a regular pizza, but do not par-bake it as instructed on the tube.
07 – Allow the Stromboli to cool slightly before slicing. Serve with your favorite marinara or red sauce for dipping.
