Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup cooked bacon bits
4 brioche buns
1 large egg (beaten)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Optional: lettuce, tomato, pickles, extra cheese slices, burger sauce
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix beef with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
Divide meat into 8 equal portions and flatten into thin patties.
In a small bowl, combine cheddar, cream cheese, and bacon bits for the filling.
Spoon the filling into the center of 4 patties. Top each with another patty and seal the edges well. Use beaten egg to help seal.
Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each stuffed patty for 3–4 minutes per side.
Transfer patties to a 375°F (190°C) oven and bake for 10–12 minutes.
Toast the brioche buns until golden.
Assemble burgers with toppings and serve hot while the center is molten.
