Ingredients
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 package refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni slices (optional)
Olive oil for brushing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and cut into 6–8 even rectangles.
On one side of each rectangle, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce, leaving a border.
Top with mozzarella, Parmesan, and pepperoni (if using).
Fold dough over to create a pocket and seal edges with a fork.
Brush tops with beaten egg and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
Lightly brush or spray with olive oil.
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with extra marinara sauce for dipping!
Notes
Don’t overfill to avoid leaking.
Great for kids—let them build their own!
Use parchment to prevent sticking.
Try different fillings: mushrooms, sausage, or scrambled eggs.
