Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup cooked chopped bacon
- 1 Tbsp McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger seasoning
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (13.8 oz) can pizza dough
- Everything bagel seasoning (for topping)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425ºF (220ºC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully browned. Drain any excess grease.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, hamburger seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and cubed Velveeta cheese. Stir until the cheese begins to melt.
Roll out the pizza dough into a 15×10-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Spread the meat and cheese mixture evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
Starting from the long side, roll the dough up tightly, jelly-roll style. Pinch the edges to seal the loaf.
Place the loaf seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the top with everything bagel seasoning.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
Let the bread cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Customization: Feel free to swap out or add ingredients like pepperoni, cooked sausage, diced veggies (e.g., bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms), or even jalapeños for a spicy kick.
Make Ahead: You can prepare the filling ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before assembling and baking.
Serving Suggestions: Serve with marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or your favorite dipping sauce for extra flavor.
Tips
For a crispier crust, lightly brush the rolled dough with olive oil or melted butter before baking.
If the bread browns too quickly, cover it loosely with aluminum foil during the last few minutes of baking.
Use a sharp serrated knife to slice the bread cleanly after it has cooled slightly.
