Season with salt and black pepper, mix well, then remove from heat.
Prepare Tater Tot Cones
Hollow out each tater tot to form a small cone shape.
Fill each cone with the beef-bacon cheeseburger mixture.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the filled cones.
First Bake
Place stuffed cones on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until tater tots are golden and cheese is melted.
Cheesy Topping
Mix shredded mozzarella with any remaining filling.
Once cones are baked, top each with the mozzarella mixture.
Return to oven for 5–10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve & Enjoy!
Best served hot for maximum gooey, crispy deliciousness.
Notes & Tips
Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat at 190°C for 8–10 minutes to regain crispiness.
Cheese Hack: Freshly shredded mozzarella works best for that perfect “cheese volcano” effect.
Prep Ahead: Assemble cones up to 4 hours before baking; add 2–3 extra minutes if baking cold.
Freezing: Freeze unbaked cones for up to 2 months. Bake from frozen, adding 5–8 minutes to baking time.
