Ingredients
  

  • Dough & Filling:
  • 1 lb 450g pizza dough
  • ½ lb 225g thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • ½ cup 80g sliced onions
  • ½ cup 80g sliced green bell peppers
  • 1 cup 100g shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup 50g shredded provolone
  • Seasonings & Glaze:
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Filling:
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté onions and bell peppers for 4–5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 4–5 minutes until browned. Set aside to cool.
  5. Assemble the Breadsticks:
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Roll the pizza dough into a ¼-inch-thick rectangle.
  8. Spread the steak mixture down the center, then top with both cheeses.
  9. Fold & Bake:
  10. Fold the dough over the filling, sealing the edges tightly. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined tray.
  11. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over the dough.
  12. Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and crisp.
  13. Serve:
  14. Let cool slightly, slice into breadsticks, and enjoy warm with marinara or ranch sauce.

Notes

Shortcut: Use leftover cooked steak.
Extra Flavor: Add mushrooms or hot peppers to the filling.
