  • tbsp granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 1 dash vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp chocolate chips or mini Reese’s cup

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients
  2. In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients
  4. Stir in milk, oil, peanut butter, and vanilla until smooth (scrape the bottom!).
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Microwave
  7. Cook on high for 70–90 seconds* (until just set but slightly shiny on top).
  8. Let rest in the microwave for 1 minute (it keeps cooking!).
  9. Enjoy!
  10. Eat warm straight from the mug—top with extra PB or ice cream if desired.

Notes

Timing: Start with 70 seconds, check, then add 15–25 sec if needed.
Texture Key: Stop cooking just before it looks fully done—it firms up as it cools.
Fun Variations
Swaps: Use peanut butter chips, Reese’s Pieces, or toffee bits instead of chocolate chips.
Nutella Twist: Drop a spoonful in before microwaving.
Chocolate Version: Add 1–2 tsp cocoa powder to the dry mix.
Gluten-Free: Substitute GF flour 1:1.
