Chicken Garlic Parmesan Rice

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup water
  • Grated parmesan cheese to taste
  • Minced garlic to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook the Chicken:
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt, coating the pan.
  3. Season chicken tenders with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  4. Prepare the Rice:
  5. In a separate pot, bring water and rice to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until tender.
  6. Stir in parmesan cheese and minced garlic, mixing well.
  7. Serve:
  8. Plate the garlic parmesan rice and top with cooked chicken.
  9. Garnish with extra parmesan and herbs if desired.
